RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP IN WWW QUESTION ANSWERING
Macquarie University's Centre for Language Technology and Australia's
Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) are
pleased to announce the availability of a joint PhD Scholarship in the
area of Natural Language Processing. The successful candidate will
contribute towards the development of a text-based question answering
system and its application to the World Wide Web. The project involves
the development of techniques in the areas of information retrieval, web
crawling and indexing, logical forms and semantic interpretation, and
text-based question answering.
