Hello,
I'm pleased to announce the release of QTag 3.1, the latest version of my
language-independent portable part-of-speech tagger. This release has two
main new features:
* the possibility to access all tags assigned to a token, with
their respective probabilities (instead of just the highest
scoring tag).
* the inclusion of an extra program which allows the creation of
resource files for new languages/tagsets from pre-tagged training
data.
Resource files for English and German (the latter based on just 25K words,
so it might not be very precise) are available for download; donations of
resource files for other languages are gratefully received.
The address for downloading QTag is
