Last year I received an article describing a technique for categorizing
documents by style and/or language. I think the same should be true for
authorship. The title of the paper is:

N-Gram-Based Text Categorization
William B. Cavnar and John M. Trenkle
Environmental Research Institute of Michigan
P.O.Box 134001
Ann Arbor MI 48113-4001

I don't have their e-mail addresses but it should be something like
'USER'@erim.org
