Up to now I have received _84_ requests for a summary of responses to my
query about taggers & lemmatizers. I had no idea that so many people
would be so interested. Please don't send any requests as my mail-box
is beginning to overflow. My poor little mail program can't handle a CC
to so many people, so I'll have to post it to the list and pass on a copy
to Knut Hofland to place on the Corpora server.
I hope to gather a little more information over the next day or so, and
then post the summary within the next 48 hours. In the meantime, I
would welcome feedback from anybody who has used 2 commercial programs,
PARSER and ENGTWOL. Both are described on the web page of the Natural
Language Software Registry, but there's no evaluation of them.
