<s id="NEST_Aul2no.s1">En junikveld i 1875 kom dikteren Bj�rnstjerne Bj�rnsom med hele sin familie til Aulestad.</s> <s id="NEST_Aul2_157en.s1">On an evening in June 1875 the poet Bj�rnstjerne Bj�rnson arrived with his whole family at Aulestad.</s>

<s id="NEST_Aul2no.s2">�ret f�r hadde Bj�rnson, som da oppholdt seg i Italia, f�tt vite av vennene sine p� folkeh�yskolen Vonheim, like ved Aulestad, at g�rden var til salgs.</s> <s id="NEST_Aul2_157en.s2">The year before Bj�rnson, who then lived in Italy, had heard from his friends at Vonheim, the folk high school (an experiential academy which challenges students to grow individually, socially and academically through a learning-by-doing philosophy) which lies close to Aulestad, that the farm was for sale.</s>
