                 IN METAPHORICAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING

    Applications are invited for two posts of Research Fellow in
    Metaphorical Language Processing, starting as soon as possible.
    Part-time involvement is negotiable, from a minimum of 50%. The
    duration of the posts will be between one and three years. One of the
    posts is supported by an EPSRC grant. The Fellows will work closely
    with Prof. John Barnden on the pragmatic, semantic and/or syntactic
    processing of metaphorical language, with a concentration on pragmatic
    reasoning. Corpus-based study of metaphorical and other figurative
    language is also a possibility.
