Dear list members,

I am a graduate student majoring linguistics in Japan.

I have just started the study about the imperatives.

I am having a hard time to find out imperative

sentences. I would like to know how to get the data

which begin with 'bare infinitive' or 'please' on the

BNC (online version). If you give me some hints,

I would appreciate you.
