    Dear Phillip--

Last year for my MA, I wanted business textbook texts in electronic
format, and found a lot at:

    http://nsns.com/Syllabits

Syllabits is a site linked to other sites where lecturers in different
business subjects post their class notes on-line. I found a lot of good
stuff for marketing, as that was my area of interest.

The quality of the notes varied, from plain notes -- ie, not full
sentences or paragraphs -- to full notes to even one 'hyperbook'. As my
study was lexically-based, I could use all those sites.

Ethically, I suppose your student would have to contact each lecturer
separately. Most replied and were quite happy for me to use their notes.
One couldn't let me, as he had posted proprietary material that his
textbook publisher gave him, and a few never replied to me.

    I hope this helps.
