ACO*HUM Advanced Computing in the Humanities
A SOCRATES thematic network project aimed at developing an international dimension for investigating the educational impact of new technologies in humanities disciplines.

The project started on September 1, 1996 and concluded on October 31, 2000.  The project's fourth and last year has consisted of an extension phase aimed at dissemination and exploitation.  The coordinating institution was Universitetet i Bergen (Norway) and  the coordinator was Prof. Koenraad de Smedt.  The main results of the project are documented on this website.
